Notes:CMP notes: The site is present-day Natural Bridges State Park, located at the northwest perimeter of the city of Santa Cruz. The view was made looking southwest toward present-day Seacliff State Beach, where stand-up surfing was first introduced in 1881 by members of the Hawaiian king Kalakaua's entourage.
